Beginner Longarm Class
The Beginner Longarm Class is designed to give new longarm quilters the foundation of knowledge they need to start quilting with confidence. This class is the perfect jump-start for new owners of all brands of longarm quilting machines!
You will learn all about:
- Thread, needles, batting, and backing fabric
- Multiple ways to load a quilt on the frame
- Machine operation and safety
- Balancing thread tension
- Basic quilting techniques
- Paper pantographs
- Machine care and maintenance (APQS-specific)
- Business tips
- And so much more!
Tuition is $200. This class is FREE for those who have purchased a new or factory-certified pre-owned/demo APQS longarm quilting machine in the past year. If you've recently purchased an APQS machine, please call us at (217)732-4112 so we can help you register.
